Acrea, short for Ateliers de Création Automobile, began production at Plaisir in Yvelines in 2005. Its sole design family was the doorless Zest, a minimalist plastic-bodied leisure roadster initially powered by a 505 cc, 21 hp twin-cylinder engine. An electric program followed: 4 kW and 15 kW versions were shown in 2008 with lithium-ion batteries, alongside the four-seat Zest4 offered with petrol or electric power. The catalog therefore remained one visual family but covered materially different legal and propulsion variants. Production ended in 2014.
