Société d’Application Électro-Mécanique began automobile production at Asnières-sur-Seine in 1921 under the A.E.M. name. The business specialized in electric vehicles intended for city travel, offering single-seat and two-seat cars plus delivery vans with a cited range of 100 km; some examples used front-wheel drive. It moved to Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1926 and ceased production in 1927. References also mention gasoline vehicles and the name Électrocyclette, although they disagree on whether the latter was a marque or model, so the catalog retains that ambiguity rather than creating a separate unsupported identity.
